Storm Damage to Several Walls in Portland Home
Water wicked up about a foot into this drywall on the first floor of a post-storm flood home in Portland. The non-salvageable material was cut out along with the wet batten insulation and tossed. Pictured is the new pink stuff inserted in the wall after we had thoroughly dried out the room and the wall materials. Our SERVPRO water damage restoration pros then sprayed an anti-fungal and anti-microbial agent into the treated areas. After we had verified that the region was dry, several days later we returned and installed new drywall. The homeowner was happy to do his own painting and was relieved and grateful for our results. "Like it never even happened."
